Fire Damage to a House in Cedar Rapids

This before and after was from a Fire that consumed the second level of this home in Cedar Rapids. The first step to fire restoration is boarding up the damaged home and removing the contents.  Anything that is damaged will be discarded on site.  Contents that can be cleaned and restored are brought back to SERVPRO and stored in our warehouse where they will be cleaned and kept until the home is ready for move back.  In the meantime the home was gutted down to the studs and everything was replaced with new. (Drywall, flooring, doors,paint, electrical and many little extras).
